The Co-founder and President is career pilot and aviation department manager with 30 years of industry experience. His background includes Part 121, Part 135, Part 91 and all of the sophisticated certifications involved with these operations. Holding positions including Captain, First Officer, Chief Pilot, Chief Flight Instructor, Check Airman and Director of Operations, he has an in-depth history of FAA Initial Part 135 and Part 91 certifications, RVSM certifications, maintenance management, personnel management and international operations. With Aviation Management Course study at Emby-Riddle University his experience includes aircraft acquisitions and leasing both new and used aircraft. He has managed aircraft flight departments with multiple aircraft including both Part 91 and 135. Holding dual ratings with extensive operational experience in both fixed and rotary wing aircraft with 16,000 flight hours he specializes in the startup, ongoing FAA compliance, and staffing of a professional flight department.
His dedication to safety includes the implementation of the newly regulated Safety Management Systems and ongoing regulatory requirements.
The Co-Founder and Executive Vice President is a retired U.S. Army Officer, with over 30 years of federal government contracting experience and corporate-level training management, marketing & sales and business development, focused on rapid growth and customer satisfaction. He holds a MBA degree in Business Administration and Finance and has more than 40 years direct experience in management of high value, complex Federal and DOD training management and systems engineering contracts. His specific areas of expertise include government-level program, contract and financial management and technical knowledge in the Instructional Systems Development (ISD) and the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) processes, interactive training design, development and implementation, simulation design, IT infrastructure management and advanced web-based technology training applications as they apply to the field of aviation. He has over 15,000 total fight hours in both fixed and rotary wing aircraft of which 8,000 of those hours are in the training development and implementation of flight training as a senior instructor pilot, instrument flight instructor, flight examiner and airfield operations manager. In addition to his personal flight credentials he has managed a major DOD flight training center supporting initial entry and advanced aviation training programs and numerous large scale, high volume government contracts. He is a decorated U.S. Army combat veteran with four combat tours of duty spanning both the Vietnam and Gulf wars and during his distinguished military career, he held the full spectrum of assignments including Senior Staff Officer within the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Senior Contracting & Procurement Officer, Master Army Aviator, Senior Instructor Pilot, Training Design/Development Analyst, and Combat Unit Leader of both Armor and Aviation battalion size organizations. Additionally, he has managed numerous large scale training programs all focused on the analysis, design and implementation of advanced training support programs, life-cycle cost estimating methods and procedures for identification of manpower, personnel, and training requirements associated the advancement of aviation core training initiatives.
